About URA

The Meaning of URA

URA means Heritage, Era, and Identity.

HeritageWhere we come from
EraWhat defines us
IdentityWhat we carry forward

Inspired by Ur, one of the world's earliest civilizations, the name reflects our origins, what defines us, and what we carry into the future.

Today, URA stands for Heritage, Era, and Identity — a reflection of where we come from, what defines us, and what we choose to carry forward.

The Symbol

A U that never opens at the top — a closed form, a vessel, a seal. The closed-top U is our enduring sigil: it holds both what came before and what is about to be made. It is not a logo. It is a mandate.

The Philosophy

Everything we make has to honour both sides of the name. If it does not carry weight from somewhere old, it is not ours. If it does not fit how people actually live today, it is not ours. The mass-market standard for cotton is 180gsm; ours is 280. You feel the difference before you put it on.

  • Heritage first
  • Craft with intention
  • Fit and function
  • Limited, deliberate releases
  • Transparency, always
The Collections

A chaptered archive for the 2026 World Cup - hosts, heritage and icons, released through the year. Each chapter is named for a nation but made for its diaspora: the people who carry where they are from, quietly, in cities far from where it began. Not merchandise. Markers, placed deliberately in a moment that asked for one.

Worn, not consumed.
A Note From The Founder

I grew up between two worlds - one a country most people know only from a headline, the other a country that sets the standard for how the world dresses and presents itself. For most of my life I tried to fit my whole heritage into the second world's vocabulary, because it was the only one on offer.

The sportswear meant to represent where I'm from felt thin in my hands. The luxury meant to represent the world I live in felt empty. There was always a version I hoped someone would build, and no one did. URA is that version.

I'm not asking you to buy a season. I'm asking you to come along for the long version. The story is older than the store.
